OUR PARTNERS

As we develop systems within provider networks that increase knowledge and decrease pregnancy-related mortality, the health outcomes for birthing parents and babies will improve, and all Oklahomans will benefit.

We are proud and honored to partner in the work to bring better maternal and birth outcomes for Oklahomans with the following organizations:

TeamBirth

This innovative program ensures that those giving birth and the healthcare professions who serve them have shared input and understanding into decisions during labor and delivery. Through the use of TeamBirth’s collaborative approach, everyone involved in the birth has a voice, which helps to promote better decision-making and overall quality of care.
In 2021, OKBEI partnered with Ariadne Labs, the developers of TeamBirth to launch the initiative at Hillcrest Medical Center and OSU Medical Center. Through HRSA funding and in collaboration with OPQIC, Oklahoma became the first state to practice the TeamBirth model at all birthing hospitals in the state in 2025.

OBCOAP

The Obstetrical Care Outcomes Assessment Program is a collaborative quality improvement program helping obstetrical care providers deliver optimum care to the childbearing people and the babies they take care of. OB COAP utilizes medical record data to evaluate clinical care during labor, delivery, and the postpartum period as the basis for exploring actionable and sustainable improvements.
OKBEI partners with Hillcrest Medical Center and OSU Medical Center to evaluate clinical data and work with healthcare providers to identify, develop, and implement improvements.
